Happy 4 Years!!

Whoa! I didn't notice that I've been an online freelancer for 4 years now! I started June 2, 2008. Just in case you dunno what an online freelancer is, it's an online work at home thing also known as "Online Outsourcing". I do mostly Audio related stuff and some Video too, in short I'm a multimedia man! LOL.

And I gotta admit, being an online freelancer is awesome. I got the freedom to choose my work, when to work and still get paid higher than a regular employee- all at home.

I never thought that this will be all possible- thanks to the internet. :)

So blessed that I was able to know about this and still ROCKIN' my freelancing career til today.

If you want to be an online freelancer just like me, you MUST be aware if a website is a SCAM. There are thousands of websites that promises big money they'll pay you.  (Note: I didn't do any cash outs when I started so NEVER cash out)

(Tech) Quick Review- Urbanears Plattan Headphones

Hey yo! I'm back from Manila. We bought "The New iPad" that I thought it was called iPad 3. LOL.

Anyway,inside the Apple store.. I saw different brands of headphones for testing so I didn't hesitate to test every single one of them.

And there I tested Urbanears. I knew this brand thru local actress Kris Bernal.
She has the pink one.

So I put the urbanears to my iPhone & played songs and guess what? I was SO IMPRESSED with the sound. And what's more impressing is the price.

Urbanears is definitely a great value. It also has a control talk but unlike Beats By Dre, it doesn't have volume control. (Plattan Plus has that feature)

And one thing more is it does hurt when using it for a long time but according to Urbanears website the earcups can be bent for comfy fit.

And what I love more is that Urbanears provide different colors to choose from. I bought the Indigo one.

So if you're looking for a low priced high quality headphones.. Urbanears is the one!! :)

Walk Away..

Have you experienced having someone special and left you behind without saying a single word on why he/she decided to leave? I have.

Till this day, I'm still wondering why that special person left me..without any reason at all? I know she has a reason but decided to keep it to herself.

I respect that quite frankly. But I just wish she told me why.. If she can't say it personally she can just text me or whatever but she decided to walk away.

Damn that hurts.

We're living in the same city so it's really possible that we cross paths. It's just sad that whenever I see her, all I remember was all the great mem'ries we've had. I treasured every single of it. As far as I remember she told me I'm special.. but by the way she left.. I felt its not true. She just flushed all the years we knew each other down the toilet.

I have no expectations whatsoever if we'll still fix things up. I'm not mad at her, she still means a lot to me honestly. But to end this post I just wanna say that walking away from someone especially if he/she have been special to you is not and will NEVER BE a good idea.

If ever she's reading this I hope we can talk things over. But if you don't want to, i RESPECT that very much.

Single Life..

Okay so I'm in bed early got nothing to do so as always, I grabbed my iPhone and decided to write another blog entry just to decrease my boredom.

Single Life- that's what I have right now. And you know what? For me, its a blessing. :)

Yes I've been single for long now. I admit sometimes I thought of having someone new again but really, I'm not yet looking for somebody.

I do have lots of girl-friends. Matter of fact, I do send them some stuffs and go out with them but that's just it.. just a friendly gesture on my part. And I'm happy with it.

I also have some crushes. And I'm friends to some. hihi. :)

I know that with people same as my age already have their own families. I'm so OFTEN asked when I'm going to settle down. (Honestly,it annoys me)

But I always say that its not my priority for now. I'm enjoying life to the fullest and not yet ready to settle down.

I have my friends.. The MommazBoyz.. all single guys. :)

Time will tell and I'm not closing my doors if someone comes along. For now, I will do anything and everything I wanna do with my life before I put the nail on the coffin of singlehood.

Happy Birthday Triplets!

Time flies so fast.. My sister's triplets are now 2 years old. I still remember when I was in the hospital and first saw the triplets.. I felt much happiness that I've never felt before..

Sebastian- is the only boy and the "Kuya" of the girls.. then out came Sebreen and Sebynna.

Sebastian loves basketball, I'm so sure that when he grows up he will be a future MVP. :) (And he is a carbon copy of his dad)

Sebreen is like the "masungit" one just like my sis and she is the carbon copy of my sis.

She's the sweetest of all. :)

Sebynna is the jolly one. She always wear that cute smile and loves to sing.
:) Her alphabet song is one of the best.

Again, to the triplets.. Happy Birthday!! I love you all so much!! <3

It was my dream to make an app but I know it'll be impossible because I don't have any knowledge on how to develop one. And it'll be a big pain in the butt because I know that there will be a bunch of codes from the programming language that I'll be using and I really hate codes coz when I took up Visual Basic in college I really had a tough time with those codes. :p

But that dream became a reality when we developed the Dust Bunnies app and I was very fortunate enough to work again with my good ol' pal Jeff Kramer from Austin,Texas. I've been working with Jeff since my early days of  online freelancing career as an Audio Engineer and when Jeff told me that we'll gon' work on a new project again I was very ecstatic.

Though we had a slight delay on the project we were able to complete the development of Dust Bunnies, and finally passed the App Store's requirements.

This is definitely one of my greatest achievements in my career EVER. And I would like to congratulate all the members of my team and THANK YOU for making my dream a reality.

New Look!!

If you are reading this blog using a desktop, you will notice that my blog has a new look! :) And also the Blogger navigation bar at the top was removed (thanks to my CSS knowledge! LOL)
And I've put a twitter feed on the right side of the page.

I also wanna thank all my readers. I've checked the stats of my blog and it was the good traffic that made me love blogging more than posting on Facebook.

I know I will still need Facebook for promoting my Online Radio and stuff so I will just use it as a promotion tool than a personal tool when I reactivate it.

Lazy Sunday

So here I am, lying in bed. Writing this entry using my iPhone and watching boxing (Cotto/Mayweather fight)

I'm done recording voice overs for my online radio station- Brixx Radio. And I'm happy that finally I've came up with radio stingers of my own.

I'm not that busy with work as before and I'm kinda not used to it. But I'm glad I was hired by a client that I applied for and out of 19 applicants, I was the one who got the job. (Wuhoooo!!)

So I guess this Sunday I will just have a peaceful day and will just watch these showbiz talk shows later. What a day. :)

So Be It..

Until now I still dunno the reason why a special girl-friend of mine suddenly disappeared. All I remember was we were good the last time we're together.

Can't deny the fact that she was so special to me that I admit I had some shortcomings. During the New Year celebration we were able to fix things up and I thought its a new beginning for us but I was wrong,I never heard or received any response on my sms.

I was left hanging,clueless.. but I realized that if she really decided to leave me and rejects my friendship to her I will just RESPECT that. I just wish her happiness in life.

I refuse to waste time thinking what went wrong or whatevs. I got all the time in the world to enjoy every single of it. :)

So be it.

My 2012 Birthday Bash! :)

Balanga City- I celebrated my (I decided not to mention my age LOL) __th birthday at home. My Twitter (@iamdjbrixx) Facebook wall was full of Birthday greetings from friends, online friends,clients, celebrity friends and loved ones.

I feel so loved. And there was always mixed feelings whenever I celebrate my birthday maybe because I'm a year older and of course its my day. :)

I was expecting a lot of friends to dropby but unfortunately most of my nurse friends were on duty so they weren't able to make it. But most importantly- MommazBoyz was in full force. They grilled the very famous steak that is sooooo yummy and the aroma is just awesome.

Popped bottles of San Mig Light mixed with music and the never ending "kwentuhan". We also took photoshots courtesy of Direk Michael Mateo (naks!) It was indeed an awesome night. Thanks to everyone who greeted and to the MommazBoyz. So blessed to have ya'll!
